How do I know about the resistance of the light -emitting diode?

2023-03-03

In fact, there are two cases of the resistance of the light diode: one is forward resistance and the other is reverse resistance.

1. Positive resistance

When the voltage of the light -emitting diode is used, the current is flowing forward, then the diode resistance value is tens to 200kΩ. This is like a wire. Lights (as shown above), the resistance is about dozens of ohms to hundreds of ohms;

When the positive measurement (Pentis is connected to P, and the negative electrode is connected to N), the electric field formed by the measurement voltage must be greater than the electricity field. For the silicon tube, the voltage is usually higher than 0.7V, and a relatively small resistance will be measured.

2. Reverse resistance

When the reverse voltage of the light -emitting diode, the current flows flows, the resistance will be infinite. Why is this? This is because the light -emitting diodes are composed of a PN, and they are also one -way conductive.

When reverse measurement (positive pole connect n, negative electrode connecting p), the electric field formed by the measurement voltage is in the same direction as the connection field. The enhanced electric field will completely prevent the flow of electrons. At this time, a relatively large resistance will be measured.

Therefore, the resistance of light emitting diode is divided into two cases, one is forward resistance, and the other is reverse resistance. The front resistance is about tens to 200kΩ; the reverse resistance is infinite.
