 At present, as a market segment of LED display screens, LED light pole screens have different application scenarios and put forward new requirements for the quality of light pole LED display screens. Let’s not talk about intelligence, services and system software. In terms of hardware alone, there are many different requirements. The brightness of more than 7000nits, high temperature resistance above 80, energy saving, light weight, beautiful, stable, shock-resistant, etc. are all conventional screens. A point that is not very important, but it is a basic requirement that is essential and must be fulfilled for the light pole led display. How to control the working temperature inside the light pole led display?

  In fact, the light pole led display is an all-metal structure, and the internal space is very small. In addition, it is installed on the roadside. In the hot summer noon, especially in the south, under the sun, even if there is no electricity, the internal The temperature can easily reach 80°C. And this is a terrible and harsh application environment for electronic products (including CPU main control chip), so effective control of the internal temperature of the light pole led display is a systematic project, and it is also a light pole led display. The key to application stability.

  In addition, the light pole led display is composed of a large number of resistors and capacitors, plastic connectors, cables and power cords. These materials may melt and change in performance at high temperatures, resulting in instability or serious failure of the entire equipment. Sometimes the physical damage produced is irreparable, so the systematic solution of heat dissipation is an important part of the light pole led display.

  Therefore, in order to ensure the stable operation of the light pole led display screen, three aspects need to be addressed. One is less heat generation, the other is fast heat dissipation, and the third is the ability to withstand high temperatures above 80°C.

  1. Less fever is the key, so in order to reduce fever, we need to start from the following aspects:

  1. Use a power supply with high conversion efficiency.

  2. Use common cathode technology (ie 4.2V) to drive.

  3. The power supply must have a margin of over 30% (working in the linear region).

  4. Use 2153 type energy-saving drive IC.

  5. LED lamp beads use large chips (ie 7000nit brightness).

  6. Use high-quality photoresistors to control brightness.

  7. The temperature control fan can adjust the internal temperature at any time.

  8. Realize remote hard power off so that the equipment has a long rest.

  2. In addition, the heat dissipation problem of the light pole led display is also a key, and we need to start from several aspects:

  1. The air inlet from the bottom of the box should be as large as possible to ensure that there is enough air intake and at the same time bring less dust.

  2. The air outlet on the top should be large, and install as many fans as possible, so that even if the fans are not working, the temperature of the equipment can be controlled.

  3. The cabinet adopts an all-aluminum structure with good thermal conductivity, which is also for faster heat conduction.

  4. The internal wiring should be horizontal and vertical to ensure that there is no dead angle in the internal cold air circulation.

  3. The ability to withstand the high temperature of 80is also the basic requirement that the light pole led display must meet, and we still have to start from several aspects:

  1. The main control card can only use a single-chip microcomputer, which is simple but stable, and does not require too much memory or too many functions. It can meet the use of the light pole LED display. Stability is the most important.

  2. The resistors and capacitors on the main control card should be military-grade and can withstand high temperatures. When the ambient temperature is 35°C, the internal temperature of the cabinet may be around 70°C, and the temperature of the main control card may reach 110°C, so the main control card must be able to withstand high temperatures above 80°C. This is something that many companies don't know. Military-grade master control cards are also much more expensive than ordinary control cards, so many companies usually don't choose them because of the cost.
