Is the LED display screen better with light beads or with patches

2023-08-10

The importance of LED electronic displays with light beads? LED beads are a very important core component of LED electronic displays, and their functions play an important role in displays. However, in reality, many people do not understand this concept. So, what is the most intuitive impact of LED beads on the display effect of full color LED displays. Today, the editor explained here some of the most important impacts of LED beads on LED electronic displays:

1. Brightness effect: LED brightness is an important factor in the display effect. The lower the brightness of LED, the smaller the current capacity, and it has the advantage of energy-saving and stable performance. The angle values of LEDs are different. If the brightness of the chip is at a specific time point, the larger the angle, the brighter the LED and the larger the angle of the display. Usually, 100 degree LED is chosen to ensure sufficient perspective on the display. Maintain a balance between brightness, angle, and price for displays with different spacing and visible distances.

2. Perspective effect: The perspective effect of an LED display screen is the same as that of an LED bead. Currently, in many outdoor displays, due to the use of elliptical LEDs with a horizontal field of view angle of 100 degrees and a vertical field of view angle of 50 degrees, SMD LEDs with a horizontal field of view angle and a vertical field of view angle of 120 degrees are used in indoor flash screens. Due to its particularity, flash screens on highways typically use 30 degrees. A circular LED with a viewing angle is sufficient. Some high-rise flash screens require lower vertical viewing angles. The perspective and brightness are relative. A large angle of view will definitely reduce brightness. The selection of viewpoints must be agreed upon based on the correct purpose.

3. Display matching: A full color display consists of countless white, blue, and green LED pixels. The brightness and wavelength of each colored LED are consistent with the overall brightness, white balance, and chromaticity of the display. Due to the angle of LEDs, full-color LED displays have a close viewing angle, which is reflected in the increase or decrease in brightness when viewed indirectly from different angles. Therefore, the angular consistency of the white, blue, and green LED beads has a slight impact on the consistency of the black balance at different angles, indirectly impacting the fidelity of the screen video color displayed by the LED.

4. Power loss: A full color display consists of tens or hundreds of thousands of red, blue, and green LED pixels. The failure of any color LED will affect the overall visual effect of the flash screen. Usually, based on professional experience, LED indicates that the power consumption after 72 hours of aging after the equipment starts production cannot be less than three thousandths of an amp. 40; Fault caused by the LED bead itself amp;

5. Anti static: LED is a semiconductor device that is complex in handling static electricity and is not prone to causing static faults. Therefore, anti-static ability is crucial for the lifespan of the screen. Usually, the fault voltage for LED static testing must not exceed 2000V.

6. Attenuation characteristics: After prolonged driving, the brightness of the LED display screen decreases and the color of the flash is not the same. The important thing is the brightness attenuation of LED devices. If the brightness of the LED decreases, the brightness of the entire screen will decrease. The brightness vibration of white, blue, and green LEDs is uneven, resulting in inconsistent colors on the LED flash screen, which is commonly referred to as the "flower screen phenomenon". Low quality LED devices can greatly reduce low brightness attenuation. According to the brightness benchmark of 1000 hours at room temperature of 20mA, the red vibration is less than 2%, and the blue and green vibration is greater than 10%. Therefore, green LEDs should not use 20mA current when constructing flash screens, and at the worst, only 70% to 80% of the rated current should be used. The vibration characteristics are related to the characteristics of white, blue, and green LEDs. The current, the heat dissipation plan of the pCB board, and the ambient temperature of the flash are all shock vibrations.
