The necessity of applying for UL certification for LED lamps

With the advancement of technology and the enhancement of people's awareness of environmental protection, LEDs with energy-saving functions have basically entered most people's homes. The LED light is an electroluminescent semiconductor material chip, which is cured on the bracket with silver glue or white glue, and then connects the chip and the circuit board with silver or gold wires, and is sealed with epoxy resin around it to protect the inner core wire. Finally, the housing is installed, so the shock resistance of the LED light is good. However, my country's LED lighting products generally need to apply for UL certification to export to the United States. In addition, the US Federal Regulations "Electrical Works Law" also clearly requires related products to pass UL certification.

LED lamps UL certification needs to provide information

1. Model name, which will eventually be displayed on external websites and UL reports;

2. If there are multiple models, you need to provide a description of the differences between the models;

3. Product manual, providing specific use and installation environment, including how to wire. The installation environment usually includes three environments: DRY, DAMP, and WET. In the WET environment, the requirements for the plastic shell of the lamps are different from those of DRY and DAMP, and UV-proof plastics need to be selected;

4. The UL file number and model name of the LED driver (FKSZ), the plastic discharge fireproof enclosure (QMFZ2) and the terminal;

5. The layout diagram of the LED circuit board of the lamp, the BOM table of electronic components (each electronic component requires at least two electrical parameters) and the circuit schematic diagram;

6. The label of the lamp and the position of the sticky body;
